This latest single by Roger Rivas really caught me off guard! I’ve been following his instrumentals for awhile now and this one just got me so excited! I noticed when I was playing it over and over again. He has really nailed the Studio 1 sound and this one includes a killer dub as well. The guitar work is tasty, the horns are smooth as butter and of course Roger’s organ playing is just amazing! The drum and bass is on point too! While this is a new 2023 digital release, it was released on 7″ vinyl last year and looks like they might still have some copies left on their Bandcamp.
